Structure
1. This series of RCBO are current-operated electronic RCBOs, which are assembled by leakage trip units and CAB6 series molded case circuit breakers. They have protection functions such as leakage (electric shock), overload, and short circuit.
2. The leakage release part is mainly composed of zero-sequence current transformer made of high magnetic permeability material, electronic control circuit, release and connecting rod, etc., and is installed in a plastic case; the part of RCBO is made of operating mechanism, Electromagnetic release, thermal release, contact system, arc extinguishing chamber, etc., and installed in another plastic shell, the two plastic shell are assembled by screw connection.
3. Working principle of electric leakage (or electric shock)
When there is a surge shock fault in the protected circuit, the vector sum of the current of the zero-sequence current transformer is not equal to zero. When the residual current reaches the rated residual operating current elbow, a signal voltage is generated at the secondary output of the transformer. Conduction, the tripping electromagnetic system pulls in, and the connecting rod pushes the circuit breaker to trip within a specified time, cutting off the power supply, thereby protecting the person from electric shock or line leakage.
4. Principle of overload or short circuit protection
When an overloaded or short-circuit fault occurs on the protected line, the overcurrent release (electromagnetic release or thermal release) in the disconnection section cuts off the power supply, thereby protecting the line from overload or short circuit.
5. Note: This system can not protect the electric shock caused by the leakage of the two wires that contact the protected circuit at the same time. Please pay attention to the safe use of electricity.

Overall And Installation Dimension
◇ Rated current: 6-32A
◇ Rated current: 40-63A
Install
1. During installation, check whether the basic technical data on the nameplate meets the use requirements.
2. Check the RCBO and operate it several times. The operation shall be flexible and reliable, and it can be installed only after confirming that it is intact.
3. The RCBO shall be installed according to the specified requirements. The incoming end is the power side above the circuit breaker, the outgoing end is the load side below the circuit breaker, and the handle up position is the contact closed position.
4. During installation, install the RCBO on the installation track, insert the incoming and outgoing wires into the terminal block, and connect the RCBO with screws.
Note: the cross-sectional area of the selected connecting wire must be suitable for the rated current. Refer to the following table when selecting PVC copper wire.
Rated current A | 6 | 10 | 16 | 20 | 25 | 32 | 40 | 50 | 63 |
Sectional area of conductor mm2 | 1 | 1.5 | 2.5 | 2.5 | 4.0 | 6 | 10 | 10 | 16 |
6. With n-wire RCBO, when wiring, the incoming n-wire shall be connected to the load zero wire, and the outgoing n-wire shall be connected to the load zero wire, and the outgoing n-wire cannot be grounded, so as to make the electronic circuit work normally and play the role of leakage protection.
Use And Maintenance
1. The leakage current, overload and short circuit protection characteristics of the RCBO are all set at the factory and cannot be adjusted arbitrarily during use.
2. After the RCBO is newly installed or operated for a certain period (usually one month), under the closing and energizing state, the test“ button” needs to be pressed, and the RCBO should be openable, otherwise it indicates that the RCBO is Failure, must be removed for inspection.
3. After the RCBO has leakage (or electric shock), the“ instruction button” protrudes to indicate. Press the“ instruction button” before closing.
4. The RCBO is opened due to the failure of the controlled circuit (overload, short circuit, leakage), and the operating handle is in the trip position. After finding out the reason, removing the fault, the handle should be moved down to make the operating mechanism buckle before closing.
5. According to the different protection objects, different RCBO with different rated current, rated residual operating current and leakage breaking time should be selected.
